Does School Exist to Make Us Smarter?
It may seem like a silly question: believers will say, ‘of course!’, while disbelievers will say, ‘of course not!’
In my country it seems like there are very, very few of the latter.
Most people want to believe — desperately want to believe — that school made them smart.
As a top performer in school I can say this with complete confidence: school made me dumb as rocks.
As an aside, video number 100 for 2017. It has certainly been another productive year here at JLB HQ!
