The term ‘synchromysticism’ sounds like the kind faux-intellectual, New Agey nonsense one might expect to find peddled by psychedelic-fuelled hippie-wannabes lurking in the dark corners of the internet. It turns out that in many cases this is pretty close to the truth. Dig a little deeper, though, and you may soon come to realise that this field of inquiry yields more fascination with and insight into our existence than most other areas of ‘alternative research’ combined.
